Return of hired items
- For (morning) half-day hires bikes must be returned before 13.00.
- For (afternoon) half-day hires and for all day hire, bikes must be returned before 17.30.
Payment and deposit
- The hire fee must be paid in advance.
- Any started hire cannot be reimbursed.
- A deposit is required. (Otherwise the lessor may accept an identity card).
Damages and insurance
- The lessee commits to use all the hired material with care and to return it in full and in the same condition.
- The lessee is personally liable for the material hired in the event of theft or loss. Losses are invoiced to the lessee based on the current rates. In the event of breakage the lessee must repair the damage occurred for the lessor. In this case, the security deposit shall be retained by the lessor on account of and as compensation for the damage.
- The lessee is not insured for theft of the item.
- The lessee is liable for all breaches of the Highway Code.
- The lessee is liable for physical and material damages that he/she causes during the use of the hired material in his/her care.
